After an excessively talkative session, Mrs. Kim, our English teacher, suggested that we should divide the class into two groups, the artist & the communicators. The artists had to take a picture of something that interested them, write a caption describing it, and present it in a PowerPoint presentation. The communicators wrote every random thought or idea and presented it in their writer’s notebooks.
The title of the projects was “Capture the Moment” and “A Peek Inside my Head.” We were extremely excited about it and participated more than any of us could have imagined. We really learned a lot about ourselves and each other through the presentations. Believe it or not, we asked Mrs. Kim if we could proceed on this activity one more month.
