The 2 Cs of the IB Learner Profile

In an attempt to construct meaningful learning and practice the attributes of the IB learner profile " Communicators and Caring", KGIB learners were promoted to develop healthy relationships that impact their lives by being caring when they brought personal objects from home to share them with their friends and to build more relationships within the school community, and also when they were encouraged to make more friends and were challenged to keep these friends through demonstrating empathy and respect attitude towards the feelings of their friends and offering help when needed. Moreover, they were good communicators when they presented their friendship boxes in front of peers from other classes highlighting their awareness of the characteristics of healthy friendships and striving to convince them about the importance of having friends to enrich their lives. Lately, Learners took the initiative to assess themselves according to the attributes of the IB learner profile by coloring their caring or communicator boxes in their IB learner profile checklist whenever they implemented an action that emphasized their commitment to the attributes of the 2Cs .
