Positive Atmosphere

4 December 2017

Since we definitely believe that a great outcome requires a positive medium to be accomplished, we highly recommend that a positive atmosphere overwhelm our classrooms. Bearing this in mind, we asked our 6th graders to welcome October, the month of positivity, in a different way by bringing their favorite items to the English Language classroom in order to enhance their positive and effective communication skills. Furthermore, learners chose one positive adjective they would like people to call them during their daily conversations. Some of the chosen adjectives were talented, humorous, genius, cooperative and creative, and the list went on. However, we didn’t want October to end without casting a positive farewell ceremony. Towards the end of October and as a culmination of their English Language theme about animals, their skills, environment, and intelligence, Mrs. Luda Sayyed offered her creative idea and helped our learners of Grade 6 to craft creative funny animals out of vegetables. On that day, the smiles on our learners’ faces were priceless!
